Students are bored by traditional textbooks and lectures, and are into multimedia, apps, and cool technology. By leveraging the power of mobile phones, image recognition, and text-to-speech, students can be educated while being entertained! And vice versa!

S.P.O.T. Training from AllAccess.US lets teachers provide customized Scannable, Programmable, On-demand Training, for nearly ANY TOPIC they can think of! Students simply point an iPhone or iPad (Android soon) at a photo and learn relevant details! There's even Text-To-Speech built-in, so a virtual instructor can speak the lessons! In the future, interactive quizzes could be added as well, with a login system to optionally record students' answers and progress and award badges for gamification!

For this challenge, we have composed a lesson of recent U.S. Presidents. A teacher could either place individual photos around the room, or display a poster with all of the Presidents (see and print the poster provided in the 'images' part of this submission.) Students simply point their phone at a President to learn more about them!

This is just a small sample of what S.P.O.T. Training can do... The possibilities for S.P.O.T. Training are limitless! ANY topic could be covered, just by associating a photo with lessons. Programmable SPOTs could include Chemical elements, landmarks, U.S. states and world geography, authors and literature, art, animals, dinosaurs, foreign language and early learning vocabulary and more!

NOTE: The poster of presidential photos to scan was uploaded as one of the images in this submission. It can also be downloaded at http://NoTie.NET/SPOTpresidents.pdf or http://NoTie.NET/SPOTpresidents.png

AllAccess hopes their S.P.O.T. Training app will do for education what their other app, AllAccess with LogoLauncher has done for businesses. That iOS and Android app lets users scan a business' logo to access that brand's information, like coupons, directions, hours and more. S.P.O.T. Training can do the same for educational purposes!
