Coming into this hackathon, I knew I wanted to solve a problem with an app that is relevant to our generation. Two weeks ago three recent graduates of my high school were killed instantly in a drunk driver driving the wrong way on I-80 in Sacramento. Designated DrUber is app Designated DrUber targets those looking to drink responsibly, particularly young adults. I am proud of the wide variety of APIs and Hardware implementations it uses including Uber's API, Geo-location, and Accelerometer. It also features an automatic saved location of your car's parking spot and notifies you with a quiz when you return.
