Phone owners on the receiving end of unwanted telephone calls should have a simple, direct means to provide feedback. Instead of filing complaints and hoping the problem will be resolved, immediate feedback and resolution should be handled by the entities that control telecommunications. Dial *86 and identify robocallers and unsolicited telemarketers immediately. Telephone companies receiving multiple reports in a short period of time can push the notification back through the source telephone company, ISP or wireless provider. Offenders would be blocked from making calls and shut down within minutes of starting their calls.
