Main focus is a road map updated frequently with slowdowns and other traffic problems. I'm using TomTom's API specifically because of the traffic information. I expect that this is an application for phones and tables (and similar devices similar to TomTom's first devices). I'm planning to use the 30% of the screen not used by the map to inform and possibly advertise in a specific way. Since I'm able to track where and when the device travels, I can push content that relates specifically to the areas where the device travels most. I'm imagining that my app would be used on a phone or a tablet, but it could as well be used as part of the instrumentation of a car. In that role the driver and passengers can be "reached", but they still receive a helpful service and they are not distracted by a device that talks too much or requires too much attention.
