We really wanted to create an app that would help our community of Boyle Heights. We took a look at how we can help our peers at school and noticed about 40% of students drop out of Roosevelt High School. Since our school is made up of 99% Hispanic students we wondered why students were failing and we wanted to help end our school reputation of dropouts. We then created Echo! We wanted to help students be more organized with their assignments and work that way they don't have an excuse to fail. Our app has four main features:
+One on One Teacher Chat room +One on One Peer Chat Room +Announcements from Teacher +Classroom Chat Rooms We are most proud of the Classroom Chat Room because we are able to fit 30+ students into one chat room to talk about assignments and collaborate with each other.
