Our product is a solution to the problem of finding partners in classes that require working in pairs (such as Tufts Comp40). Our target user is in the short term tufts comp40 students, but our code can be generalized to be useful for groups of people who need to pair off to work together. We find out when users are available by having them log in with Google+, giving us access to their google calendar information. If they don't have a Google calendar, we built a tool that allows them to quickly enter times when they're free to work. Once all people in the class have entered their data, we calculate who should be matched with who based on how many hours they can work together. We also included a few questions about the user's preferences (such as when they prefer to work, whether they like typing) in order to better match people whose schedules are generally compatible.
