The basic concept is, you are an asterisk administrator and you need to do maintenance on your asterisk instance. Currently, there is no easy way to take that asterisk instance out of rotation execpt for people to stop using it.
The purpose of todays hack, is to show a new approach to migrate live traffic from a running asterisk system to another.
