What is METAPHYSICS?
METAPHYSICS is an app for the Meta Augmented Reality (AR) system that brings physics concepts to life. By taking advantage of the immersive 3D environment provided by the Meta glasses the user can enter an interactive world where they can not only see, but reach out and interact with the virtual scene. This tool is ideal for educators wishing to provide their students with a unique learning experience, or a framework for an extra dimension of data visualization.
Currently METAPHYSICS provides users with two educational features:
An interactive solar system, modelled with beautiful NASA surface images, shows the user the relative scale of the solar system in both space and time.
Gravitational N-body simulations where the user can add their own objects to the gravitational system and watch the ensuing interactions, and likely chaos.
The METAPHYSICS app is developed by physicists and students with a passion for science and education who are familiar with what engages students in the learning process.
