Online Appointment Scheduler

The future of current Veterans revolves around technology and it is important that we incorporate methods that they are comfortable using in their everyday environment, such as the use of online applications. My project is called “Online Appointment Scheduler", which will involve building a website as a front-end interface for Veterans to schedule their appointments online. The online system will require Veterans to register for an account. Once registered, the Veteran will be able to select a date and time from the online calendar that they will be presented with. The calendar will show available times and dates to choose from. Unavailable dates and times will be displayed as such. The back-end of the website will interact with the VistA system to ensure real-time availability for primary care clinics.
