Pound-Down Robocalls

In order for illegal Robocalls to be flagged for FTC investigation, a special touch tone code, # # # (pound-pound-pound), will be implemented with the cooperation of phone service providers. When a consumer receives a potentially-illegal Robocall they would "flag" the call by pressing the pound button three times on their touchtone phone, allowing the particular call to be tracked, even when the originator of the call has obscured their true phone number from Caller ID.
