On an average, a smartphone user has about 60 apps installed on her device. Daily she gets a number of push notifications, most of which are irrelevant. We faced the same issue of too many spammy notifications and have uninstalled many apps which could otherwise be useful. Pushbender gives the app developer the ability to optimize notifications based on a user's engagement level in his app. It analyses the user's history to decide the probability of engagement for a notification. Based on this, the developer can choose to optimize and manipulate it. We are really proud of the fact that Pushbender takes social circles, types of notifications and time of notifications into consideration. Time of notification helps us provide a service like buffer for push notifications to be sent to the user at the right time to increase her engagement level in the app.
