Reaction App was initially inspired by my partner Josh and I sending our friends funny or shocking videos to watch and unable to see their faces. We then discovered from talking to our friends and family that people are seeking ways to intimately connect through everyday media.
The sharing of media is the new "Hello".
We live in a time when it is not the norm to pick up the phone and call your friend to say "hello". We instead use platforms like Yo, facebook and twitter to broadcast what we are thinking and feeling. However, the intimacy is sometimes lost in translation. This app serves as an icebreaker and facilitator to help spark those deeper connections through video.
