Have reCAPTCHA© join the efforts to stop robocallers! I believe that this joint team effort will begin a great journey to end these robocallers! It may not be the exact solution to stop everything, but I think it is going in the right direction. reCAPTCHA© is used for internet websites to stop spammers from posting bogus ads, links, etc. A system can be created where these "robocallers" must punch in a certain sequence to get a call through. If it is automated, the call will obviously not go through. reCAPTCHA© should now be used with all phone providers. Everyone will be forced to type in a CAPTCHA if they are calling/texting a person for the first time only. This would be applied to you and me, but after we type in a CAPTCHA once to call/text a number for the first time, we no longer need to type one in for that particular phone number. If the "robocaller" goes through after being successful, which they shouldn't, there should be a number sequence to notify the FTC such as #7867 (#STOP) and it will allow the call to be traced back because of the activity on their end.

I'm just an average person and this is the first thing that came to mind when I heard about this. I believe it is a good start to end something that is so bothersome to so many people!
