The idea is to have all Robot callers, and telemarketers, be registered for a certain number, for example a "600" or "700" number. Then have telephone companies put techonology in place similar to "*69" so that when you(the customer) receive the call,or at any time, you can dial "*600" or "*700". This would block anyone registered with the "600" or "700" number from calling you. This would be a way for the consumer to end this automatically and would do away with the do not call registry. So all you need is a simple marketing campaign explaining to consumers that they can now do this for themselves. ~~Then also have stiff fines, and disciplinary action, for those telemarketers, and robot callers, who try to go around registering for a number.

***It should be easy for phone companies to tell which non-registered numbers have a heavy call out volume(multiple per minute) and should be required to turn them in to the FDC.
