When it comes to women safety, it’s not just the responsibility of women. It's everyone's responsibility to participate and come together to take action - bystanders, victims, communities, city governments.
Do you know that in a developing country like India, more than 90 percent of cases go unreported? In 2011 alone, this amounted to around 200,000 cases. This is where the idea of Safrzone originated.
Safrzone is trying to make two things easier:
Data reporting
- A major hurdle for data is that there is no safe/reachable/known platform today
- We want to fill that gap
- Our audience is victims, witnesses, make it fast and easy
Closing the loop with a Targeted Call To Action
- We want to close the loop with relevant stakeholders by bringing awareness regarding reported incidents
- Our audience is local businesses, city governments, citizens
