Work with U.S. carrier to prototype per-user Junk filters for phone calls. The Junk filter operates like voicemail, allowing users to dial a special number *JUNK to add the last caller to their Junk list, and touchdial editing of whitelists (caller always allowed) and blacklists (caller never allowed).
Like AdBlock, the per-user Junk lists are sanitized, aggregated, and released online, allowing analysts to produce high quality composite block lists to which users can automatically subscribe within the *JUNK editing system.
Example:
[Incoming call from 1-800-HOUSES]
"Would you like to buy a house?"
"Nope."
[Disconnect.]
*JUNK
"To continue in English, press one."

"To mark the last caller as junk, press pound twice. To manually enter a phone number to junk, dial the number, then press pound."
"Done. Would you like to automatically block calls with a blocklist service? If so, press one."

"If you want to subscribe to 'Open Block List', press pound twice. If you want to manually enter a blocklist, dial its identification phone number, then press pound."
