The ACID Test

ACID is the acronym for Automated Call Interceptor Device. The primary function of ACID is to stop automated phone calls also known as RoboCalls from reaching the consumer. The factory setting for ACID does not differentiate between legal automated calls and illegal automated calls, but the consumer has an option to program acceptable (preferred) automated calls. The secondary function is to allow the consumer to generate income by assigning codes to retailers who desire to market to the consumer.
