We were approached by the World Bank to work on a high impact project.

They:

asked us to scrape the web for information on the Tanzanian government's budget, and convert it into an accessible format.

We:

Scraped the Tanzanian gov’t website for pdfs; Used HP IDOL OnDemand to extract pdf data; Generated .csv files of extracted data;

Built a node/express web app; Built an interactive CSV visualizer for our app; Visualized the data with d3.js
