vacciNATION is a web app from BioMedware, which combines interactive maps of flu activity across the nation and state-wide vaccination rates, a playful game that communicates the benefits of being vaccinated, and a collection of information sources (symptom checker, podcasts, FAQs, etc.) promoting flu awareness, prevention and education. Integrating aspects of health communication, gaming, and interactivity, vacciNATION not only promotes awareness of disease status and spread, but also encourages healthful behaviors such as getting vaccinated.
