"Should I get a flu shot?" We're often told the answer is "yes," but that's not always convincing.  Isn't it more important for some people to get vaccinated than others?  Why is it important for me? This bilingual web-app collects some basic data from users to determine their risks of getting the flu and the harm they'd suffer if they did.  We integrate this information with published medical research and live data from the CDC to calculate how much each user should be willing to pay for a flu shot.  (Without giving away the ending, the flu shot is usually quite a bargain!)  And, just to help users take the next step, we send them on their way with a map and directions to the nearest flu shot. By bringing the CDC's data to life, we hope to show users that the question isn't really whether you should get a flu shot.  The question is: can you afford not to?
