*33 Enhanced Telecommunication Privacy-Security Service

Provide consumers the optional service of adding a 4-6 digit pin number after their phone number to complete the incoming call.

Example: (555) 555-5555 (5555) Area Code - Number - Pin

A pin number that consumers could change and turn (on) and (off) at their convenience. Pin number security is a time tested proven system. Most consumers already use a pin number security system with other types of accounts and are already acclimated to the easy way they work.

When the pin number is enabled and (on) it would act as a block to any caller that doesn’t know the correct pin number. Anyone calling must add the additional pin numbers to the call to get through.

The pin number would only be known to possibly family, friends, neighbors, schools and anyone with whom the consumer wishes to receive calls from.

Possibly just toggling between a few numbers or symbols on the handset as we now do with other telecommunication services already in use we could easily turn the system on and off quickly when needed.

Example: *33 (on) *34 (off)

When (off) it would allow any incoming call to connect with or without using the pin number. The number would be dialed and call connected just as it does currently.

Law enforcement, emergency personnel and any others with an official right to know would have access to the registered pin number.

Starting as a possible low cost fee based system either per use or monthly it would provide telecommunication providers with the additional funds needed to make the necessary changes required to the current telecommunication system. Assuming that just a small percentage of the 200 million plus consumers on the current “Do Not Call List” became registrants even a small fee for this service would equal millions of dollars in additional revenue to offset cost and increase additional profits.

The option to use as needed and change pin numbers at anytime gives consumers a lot of flexibility and control with their telephone privacy and security and would confuse and out date current auto dialer software and require the development of new systems, options and technology to try and work around the pin number issue and the thousands of number combinations it provides. A pin number maze which would add tremendous cost to the illegitimate telemarketing business.
