Star-76 is a recommendation for a solution for dealing with unwanted robocalls. The primary measure is a software implementation of existing phone features with nominal changes in order to effect an incentive for robocallers to obey the law. Star-76 does not prevent robocalls in the first place, but, should limit their use by automating customer actions and providing incentive for acting against robocalls.
