A home telephone device to eliminate aggravation of unwanted calls

Anyone with a home telephone has witnessed the dramatic increase in automated telephone calls over the past 15 years. These calls range from debt collectors, to polling organizations, to solicitations, and can total a dozen or more per day. Here is a proposal for a low cost telephone that leverages existing technology in an innovative way to virtually eliminate the aggravation from these annoying calls. While the rules state that the proposed device that “will block illegal robocalls” a device cannot know which calls are illegal. Nor can it know that a particular call is a “robocall”. This proposed device gives the user the functions to totally eliminate interruptions from unauthorized numbers, and easily manage the ones that connect.
