We saw many drawbacks of using voice based personal assistants, like looking stupid in public and facing recognition inaccuracy, so we figured that the best way to minimize these inefficiencies was to move from voice to text. Our target audience is people who regularly use a personal assistant and have access to an SMS-enabled device. We are most proud of our Natural Language Processing data extraction library however the best feature of Eve (not in the judged build) is that it develops an individual personality tailored to the person using her. She learns about the user and their, family, friends, etc.
