Inspiration
Music drives the creative mind, we wanted to create something that would make it simply and quick to create your own spotify playlists, less time clicking and adding more time enjoying the sound
How it works
Our web page works hand by hand with the echonest api and the spotify api
Challenges I ran into
We didn't have any prior expiriences with angularjs nor responsive web design, we had great help by Nick from MHL
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
We finished relatively fast but we maneged to reduce our code by 65% by the end of the night
What I learned
We learned the importance of using restful apis which make our lifes a whole lot easier
What's next for Give Me Sound
Hopefully we can integrate pebble next we want to migrate our code into the MEAN stack so that both a host and guests from a party can vote via pebble or app to get the next playlist related with the 5 most upvoted artists
