The point of robo calls, like most crime, is money. The way to end these solicitations (for money) is to charge the solicitors, automatically, for every robo call. We have Caller ID. We need Robo, Pay Me. The robo callers' numbers would be recognized, flagged, & charged: $1.00 A Call, whether answered or not: "Just" for being a robo call. The application would be to detect robo calls; &, as we *69; this app would be $69: Charge that number which made the robo call, automatically, at the aforementioned rate, minimum: $1.00 A Call. Many people commit crimes because they can, & because Crime does pay: Crime pays criminals. Make crime cost criminals, pay victims. This is, at least, a start.
