This bill will help to curb the annoying calls from telemarketers or anyone or business in a fair but legal fashion. I in the past once worked for the phone company as a network operations center Sr engineer and have used our software switch to block phone calls on a need to basis. I think that all phone companies should make this service available to all of its customers thru a web portal. The law would give customers the ability to go online enter there account information and go to phone settings and enter the offending or annoying phone number and block all together from calling them. The customer would never get the call or the bill for being called by the telemarketers or business an exception for 911, police and fire would be in the bill.
